I've always loved oversized knitwear. There's something about throwing on a beautifully made sweater that instantly makes you feel comfortable, relaxed and put together all at once.
When designing The Sweater, I wanted to create the kind of knit you'd reach for every winter, the one that lives on the end of your bed, comes with you on every trip and somehow works with everything in your wardrobe.
The baby alpaca blend was an easy choice because it creates a knit that's incredibly soft, naturally warm and comfortable without feeling overly heavy. It's one of those pieces I know I'll still be wearing years from now, and I hope it becomes a forever favourite in your wardrobe too.

Our knitwear is crafted in Peru, where alpaca fibre has been treasured for generations and is celebrated as one of the country's finest natural materials.
We chose a premium baby alpaca blend because it offers exceptional softness, natural warmth and breathability without unnecessary weight. Combined with merino wool, it creates a knit that's comfortable, durable and designed to be loved for many winters to come.
Like all beautiful natural fibres, it becomes part of your wardrobe over time, softening with wear while retaining its timeless appeal.
When I began designing BLANK's knitwear, there was only one place I wanted to make it, Peru.
Working with artisans who specialise in knitwear was incredibly important to me. Their understanding of alpaca fibres, attention to detail and generations of craftsmanship are reflected in every piece they create.
Choosing Peru wasn't simply about where our knitwear would be made, it was about partnering with people who share our appreciation for quality, craftsmanship and timeless design.
