I designed The Shirt Cardigan because I loved the idea of creating a knit that could be worn in more than one way. I wanted it to feel just as beautiful worn buttoned up as a top as it did layered open like a cardigan, giving you endless styling possibilities throughout the seasons.
One of my favourite details is the custom pointelle knit. It adds just the right amount of texture while still feeling timeless and understated. Combined with the soft baby alpaca blend and natural coconut shell buttons, it's a piece that feels incredibly special without trying too hard.
I hope this becomes one of those pieces you style differently every time you wear it and continue reaching for year after year.

Our knitwear is crafted in Peru, where alpaca fibre has been treasured for generations and is celebrated as one of the country's most beautiful natural materials.
We chose a premium baby alpaca blend because it's exceptionally soft, naturally warm and beautifully lightweight. It provides warmth without unnecessary bulk, making it perfect for layering through changing seasons.
It's a fibre chosen not only for how it feels today, but for how beautifully it wears over time.
When I began designing BLANK's knitwear, there was only one place I wanted to make it, Peru.
I wanted to work with artisans whose craft revolves around knitwear and who understand these beautiful natural fibres better than anyone. Working with local artisans using locally sourced fibres allows us to celebrate generations of craftsmanship while creating knitwear designed to last.
